The Irish owned College of Hairdressing Connaught has been established 19 years and is considered to be one of Irelands leading hairdressing training colleges. The College offers City & Guilds accreditation and the college has the only dedicated hairdressing training salon in the West of Ireland.

Josephine Cribbin is managing director and Principal of the College. It was established in 1992 the College was the first to offer City & Guilds qualifications in Ireland. Josephine has acted as external verifier for City & Guilds and has edited the 'Irish Hair and Beauty Journal'. She was voted Connaught Young Businesswoman of the year in 1999 and was a finalist in the Young Entrepreneur 2001.

We train to the highest level available through City & Guilds the coveted NVQ 3008 National Vocational Award and offer our students the opportunity to work on clients from our established database of over 3,000 clients.

Our fully equipped training facility is modern and stylish and adopts the most up to date training methods available with a state of the art salon, training room, theory room, canteen and video and demonstration room allowing students to learn the craft of hairdressing in a real world setting and in a supportive and encouraging environment.
